Dawn B. McKinney, Au.D
Doctor of Audiology, President
Dr. Dawn McKinney is committed to bringing a more ethical approach and better patient care to the hearing aid market. She co-founded Southland Hearing Aids & Audiology in 2011 in Dublin alongside her husband, Mike.
Dr. McKinney has 28 years of experience in audiology, having worked in ENT practices, hospitals, private practices, hearing aid dispensing offices and the Veterans Administration. These experiences have shaped her philosophy of empathetic and accessible hearing care.
Dawn and Mike are long-time Dublin residents and share three children together. Myles is a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in chemical engineering. Sydney is a nursing student at West Virginia Wesleyan College, and Lou is pursuing a degree in Allied Health at UConn. Outside the office, Dawn enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and exercising.

Mike McKinney
Mike McKinney works on marketing ideas and helps with office duties at Southland Hearing Aids & Audiology. He co-founded the practice with his wife, Dr. Dawn McKinney, in 2011.
Mike has 30 years of experience as an account manager in the plastic resin industry, where he consistently grew territories and built new sales operations from the ground up.
Mike and Dawn are long-time Dublin residents and share three children together. Outside the office, Mike enjoys spending quality time with family and playing golf.
